Down in the depths of a teenage boys room

Well I told Jared it was time to get his messy room cleaned. I can only take it for so long. Lol. He came upstairs with this lovely plate full of......
MOLDY GRAPEFRUIT!!!!! I know it is so disgusting, but typical of a messy teen boy. So,instead of getting mad, I decided to grab the camera!!!

Jameson is WALKING!!!!!

Jameson is walking all over the place! A week ago, he would take just a few steps--- and today, September 1st, he is going everywhere! He looks SO cute on those chubby legs!

My awesome husband

Brian is an excellent gardener. Every year we have so much delicious produce.I LOVE going out to my garden for a fresh tomato or pepper. This year we have beets, carrots, kohlrabi, onions, peppers, jalapenos, pumpkins, tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini.
The past two years, he has made and canned salsa. It is REALLY good. He makes fresh salsa too that is the best you could ever taste.
I think it is so awesome that my HUSBAND makes salsa!!! lol:)
These pictures are his "BEFORE" and "AFTER".

Jameson's mess

Jameson is so awesome!!! How did I ever live without this baby?? :)I knew he was a little too quiet this day, and sure enough....he was in the plant!!!

Odds and ends

School started for Brigham and Bailey on August 18. Bailey was excited, but Brigham was not. This is my child that, while at Disneyland when he was 4 years old, got on my lap and said, "Mommy, I want to go home." SO you can imagine, that if he wanted to be home instead of at DISNEYLAND, school is not his favorite place! :)

Bethany FINALLY got her learners permit!! She has had no interest in getting it on her own. I think its because she is always with Jessie, so she has had no reason to need to drive. But finally, she got it.It will be nice to have two drivers.

My sis-in-law Shalamar and her kids Becca and Jackson came down to go to Seven Peaks for one last summer thing before school starts. We had a blast. Then her kids stayed with us for a few days. They are such sweet, good, funny kids. Very mannerly and obedient and helpful. I love having them here. My sister Di stayed overnight with us one night and spent some good "Aunt time" with the kids.

Then school started for everyone else on the 25th.Jessie was SOOOOOO glad to not have to go! She was teasing the others how she got to sleep in instead of waking up at 6:00 a.m. That evening we went to Seven Peaks for family night for our final time. Then we ate out at Joe Veras, a mexican place.

Cherry Hill

We have been going to Cherry Hill for several years now, and it is SO much fun. It's my FAVORITE place to go with the family. We camp there in our trailer, and then there are waterslides, batting cages, aero ball, hamster haven, rock climbing, video arcades, and miniature golfing. It is unbelieveably fun.On the day we waterslide, my extended family comes and that makes it even more fun. We all had a blast on the water slides together. At dinner time we all ate at my trailer, and then later we all went and got a piece of their famous pie together. It is just SO much fun here.My brother Dan said, "Theres no other water slide that makes me feel actually GIDDY"

Summer stuff

Brian and my boys went on a fishing trip on August 8 and 9. This year they went to Flaming Gorge. This has been a yearly traditon for a few years now with the Barnett side. They really enjoy it and have a good time.Uncle Brett has a boat this year so it was a lot more fun for them.
Jess was on a river rafting trip with the singles ward, Brooke and Bailey stayed at their cousins house for those two days, so the only people home were me, Bethany and Jameson. We had a BLAST! We went shopping, out to lunch and dinner both days, and to the county fair. We rented a movie and she slept in my bed with me. It was so much fun.And the house stayed so clean with everyone gone!!! lol
